Hearty wholemeal spelt bread
Baking bread is currently back in vogue. And rightly so! After all, what could be better than the taste of homemade bread? If you want to stock up on bread, simply bake it in a jar and then boil it. This keeps it nice and fresh and preserves its delicious aroma!

Step 1
Grease the jars with butter and sprinkle with the breadcrumbs.
Step 2
Place flour in a bowl and mix with all dry ingredients. Mix water with fruit vinegar. Add to the flour mixture and work everything into an elastic dough using the dough hook of the mixer, first on the lowest setting and then on the highest setting for about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Divide the slightly sticky dough into four portions and place in the prepared jars. Cover and let rise for about 30 minutes.
Step 4
Place the jars on the cold oven rack and put them in the cold oven. Now heat the oven to 180°C. Bake the bread for 1 hour.
Step 5
Remove and let cool.
Step 6
Now clean the rim of the jars and seal them with a preserving ring, glass lid and clips.
Step 7
Heat in a 100°C water bath for 30 minutes to preserve.

- 50.0 g Linseed
- 50.0 g Sesame
- 50.0 g Sunflower seeds
- 50.0 g Rolled oats
- 2.0 tsp Salt
- 2.0 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 300.0 ml lukewarm water
