Egg white bread
This moist egg white bread is a protein-rich alternative to traditional bread and stands out for its pleasantly light texture. The combination of protein-rich ingredients and select seeds makes it filling and versatile. Baked and set in a WECK jar, it’s also easy to store and can be enjoyed fresh whenever you like.

Preparation
Step 1
Remove the oven rack from the oven. Preheat the oven to 180° C (gas mark 2–2½). Grease the jars.
Step 2
Place all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix them together. First, mix the quark and egg whites together, then add them to the bowl and beat the mixture with a hand mixer until it forms a smooth batter. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared jars.
Step 3
Place the jars on the cold oven rack and slide them into the preheated oven; bake for 30 minutes. Once the baking time is up, remove the jars from the oven and let them cool on a cooling rack, wooden board, or folded dish towel.
Step 4
To preserve bread, carefully clean and degrease the rims of the jars. Then seal the jars with a Preserving ring, a Glass lid, and two preserving clips each. Sterilize in a water bath heated to 100°C for 30 minutes. After the sterilization time is up, remove the jars from the water bath and let them cool on a wire rack, then remove the clips.
