Paprika and chilli pesto
This spicy bell pepper and chili pesto combines sweet, aromatic bell peppers with a pleasant heat and delicate herbs. It’s quick to prepare and is perfect as a pasta sauce, a spread, or to enhance the flavor of meat and vegetables. Stored in a WECK jar, the pesto keeps wonderfully and can be enjoyed in many different ways.

Step 1
Lightly toast the pine nuts in a pan until they begin to smell fragrant. Allow to cool.
Step 2
Wash, deseed and finely chop the peppers and chilli peppers. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Put the pine nuts, peppers, chili, garlic, parmesan, olive oil and paprika in a blender and puree until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Pour into jars, cover with a little oil and seal. Store in the fridge.
