Step 1

Pour the lentils into a sieve and wash them several times.

Peel the onion and ginger and dice finely.

Heat oil and sauté onions in it.

Remove the seeds from the peppers and cut them into small pieces.

Add the lentils, peppers, ginger, turmeric and coriander to the soup and sauté, stirring constantly.

Pour in the stock and simmer for 15 – 20 minutes, then puree.

Season with salt and pepper. Arrange in glass bowls.
