Savoury green smoothie
Fresh, green and full of energy: this savoury green smoothie combines cucumber, apple, chicory and flaxseed with lemon juice and turmeric – a wonderful alternative to sweet breakfast drinks.

Step 1
Cover the linseeds with 50 ml of water and let them soak overnight.
Step 2
The next day, wash the apple, quarter it including the core and remove the stalk and ends.
Step 3
Peel the cucumber and cut into 1 cm pieces.
Step 4
Clean the chicory, remove the stalk and roughly chop.
Step 5
Sort through the nettles, Chinese cabbage and coriander. Rinse with cold water and shake dry.
Step 6
Put the apple, cucumber and chicory pieces as well as nettles, Chinese cabbage, coriander, linseed, lemon juice, turmeric, cinnamon and 250 ml water into a blender and puree until smooth.
Step 7
Start on the lowest setting, then belnd on the highest setting until creamy. Add a little more water if necessary. Season with salt and pepper.
