Step 1

Mix the cornstarch with a little milk until smooth.

Pour the remaining milk into a saucepan and warm it up.

Add sugar, honey, salt and egg yolk and mix vigorously.

Add the mixed cornstarch and stir until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
