Step 1

Wash and dry the cherries. Then cut it in half, remove the stones and put it in a large saucepan. Add all the ingredients except the jam sugar, mix and puree.

Add the sugar and heat the mixture while stirring. Let it boil for 4 minutes according to the instructions on the package. Remove any foam that rises with a spoon. Carry out the setting test. Pour the boiling hot jam into sterilised, still hot jars and fill almost to the rim. Seal well immediately
