Step 1
Wash, trim, halve, and pit the apricots.
Step 2
Place them in the jars as tightly as possible without squeezing the fruit, with the cut side facing inward.
Step 3
To make the sugar solution, mix the sugar and water, then fill the glasses with it to just below the rim.
Step 4
Seal the jars with the preserving rings, glass lids, and preserving clips. Process in a water bath heated to 90° C for 30 minutes.
