Step 1
Wash the strawberries, pat dry and remove the green parts. Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the pulp. Place the strawberries in a large pot and puree. Add the vanilla pulp, lemon juice and jam sugar, mix everything and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. Let it boil for 4 minutes according to the instructions on the package. Remove any foam that rises with a spoon. Pour the boiling hot jam into sterilised, still hot jars and fill almost to the rim.Immediately close the jars tightly.
