Zebra cake

Preparation
Step 1
Carefully grease the Bundt cake jars. Remove the oven rack and preheat the empty oven to 180° C (gas mark 2 −2 ½). Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla pulp in a mixing bowl. Mix the eggs with oil, milk and liqueur, add to the flour mixture and mix with the beaters of the hand mixer for about 2 minutes to form a uniform dough. Remove half of the dough and place it in a second bowl. Add the orange zest, cocoa and orange or vanilla sugar to the remaining dough and stir in evenly.
Step 2
Now fill the prepared jars with the dough. To do this, alternately place a tablespoon of light dough followed by a tablespoon of dark dough in the exact middle of each jar. Continue like this until both doughs have been used up. Place the jars on the cold oven rack and then slide them into the preheated oven. Bake the zebra cakes for about 35 minutes. Carry out a swab test.
Step 3
After the baking time, take them out of the oven and let them cool on a wire rack, then remove them from the jars.
