Walnut butter
This delicious butter with walnuts is quick to make and goes perfectly with bread, steak or simply vegetables.

Step 1
Toast the walnuts in a pan. Then chop them finely. Peel the onion and garlic, chop into small cubes and sauté them in a pan with two tablespoons of butter.
Step 2
Add the mixture along with the chopped walnuts to the remaining butter. Season with salt and pepper. Knead until a homogeneous mass is formed.
Step 3
Form the walnut butter into a roll in aluminium foil or transfer into small portion moulds, for example prepared 80 ml WECK mini jars, and store in a cool place.
