Preparation
Step 1
For the chocolate dough, put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and knead into a smooth dough using the dough hook of the hand mixer. Form into a ball, wrap in foil and chill for at least 1 hour.
Step 2
For the quark filling, put all the ingredients in the mixing bowl and mix with a hand mixer until there are no lumps.
Step 3
Spread the gourmet jars with the soft butter. Remove the rack or tray from the oven and preheat the empty oven to 175° C (gas mark 2). Roll out a quarter of the chocolate dough on a lightly floured work surface or between foil to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out six bunnies using a small cookie cutter. Divide the remaining dough into sixths and pour into the prepared jars. Press down on the bottom of each jar, leaving a small rim. Divide the quark mixture between the jars, then carefully place the dough bunnies in the middle of the mixture.
Step 4
Place the jars on the cold baking tray in the preheated oven and bake the quark tarts for about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Step 5
You can also cook the tartlets for storage. To do this, carefully clean and degrease the rim of the jars. Close the jars with a preserving ring, glass lid and preserving clips. Cook in a 100°C water bath for 30 minutes.
