Step 1

Wash the plums, remove the stones and bring to the boil in a large pot. Let simmer for about half an hour, then puree.

Step 2

Let the pureed mixture continue to simmer without a lid, stirring rarely at the beginning and frequently at the end so that the puree does not burn.

Step 3

After another 1½ - 2 hours the puree is ready and can be filled hot into sterilised jars. Seal airtight immediately.
