Mini coffee and chocolate cake

Step 1
Remove the oven rack and preheat the oven to 175° C (gas mark 2 – 2 ½). Grease the jars.
Step 2
Mix sugar, butter, salt and espresso powder with the mixer. Add the egg and beat the mixture until foamy. Mix flour, baking powder, cocoa and cinnamon separately. Add the espresso to the sugar-egg mixture and mix.
Step 3
Pour the dough halfway up into the jars, press a piece of chocolate into the middle of each, place the jars on the rack, put in the oven and bake for 10 - 12 minutes. Carry out a swab test next to the chocolate center. Let the jars cool slightly on a cake rack. To serve, mix some espresso powder and powdered sugar and sift over the top. Enjoy the cakes lukewarm!
