Step 1
Wash, halve and core the mirabelle plums.
Step 2
Cut the pulp into small pieces and place in a large container.
Step 3
Slit the vanilla pods lengthways and add them with the sugar.
Step 4
Top up with the vodka and let it steep in a dark place for about a month.
Step 5
Then pour it through a sieve lined with kitchen paper, collect it and fill it into bottles.
